No charge for the design work · 50% at design approval

How a commission runs
01
The brief
Forty-five minutes to an hour and a half, at the bench or on a call. What it is for, who wears it, the budget, the deadline. Most commissions take two or three conversations before the design is locked.
02
The stone
We bring you two to four stones to choose between, with the papers to match. The setting is designed around the stone’s dimensions, never the other way round.
03
The drawing
Pencil first, then a render you can turn in your hand. Half the fee falls due when you approve the design, and it is not refundable after that.
04
The wax
The ring is carved and printed in wax so you can wear it before a gram of gold is committed.
05
The bench
Cast, filed, set under the microscope. The making typically takes two to three weeks, and you are welcome to come in and watch it happen.
06
The handover
Fitted, hallmarked, boxed, with the certificate. Cleaning and a check every year after that, no charge.
